Assail® receives registration for stone fruit

Assail® has received approval from the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) to expand the product registration to include stone fruit from Crop Group 12. Now peach, nectarine, plum, sweet or tart cherry, plumcot, prune and apricot growers can use Assail® for the control of oriental fruit moth and plum curculio.

Assail® 70 WP is registered for oriental fruit moth control on stone fruit at 120 g/ha to 240 g/ha. It is registered at 240 g /ha for plum curculio and cherry fruit fly.  Assail® should be used at the higher rate for heavy infestations or dense foliage.
