Assail® insecticide to control aphids and blueberry maggot.

Mississauga, Ont – Lowbush and highbush blueberry producers can currently use DuPont
Assail® insecticide to control aphids and blueberry maggot.

Now there are additional
pests added to the label including blueberry flea beetle, blueberry thrips,
cherry fruitworm, cranberry fruitworm, strawberry rootworm and blueberry
spanworm.

Assail®
controls a broad spectrum of insects and offers flexible rates depending on the
insect pressure.

Assail® 70 WP
is registered at a rate of 160 g/ha using a minimum finished spray volume of
187 litres per hectare. In highbush and lowbush blueberries, Assail®
can be applied up to four times per year.
