Apple Biodiversity Collection has several apples ‘of the future’

A Kentville, N.S. orchard boasts more than 1,000 varieties of apples, making it one of the world’s widest collections of fruit. Among the varieties grown at the Apple Biodiversity Collection is the Pink Pearl apple which has pink flesh, a crunchy texture and a taste similar to “Jolly Ranchers and Life Savers.”
