AAFC: Updated raspberry crop profile available
April 22, 2021 By Fruit and Vegetable
The Pest Management Centre (PMC), run by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), has released an updated crop profile for raspberry. This crop profile is the fourth edition for raspberry.
AAFC’s Pesticide Risk Reduction team has created and maintains 32 crop profiles for 38 different crops. The most up-to-date versions of these profiles are available to view and download for free through the Government of Canada Publications website or through AAFC’s crop profiles page.
Each profile provides an overview of production and pest management practices in Canada, as well as abiotic factors affecting the crop’s growth. The biology of key disease, insect and mite, and weed problems is presented, as well as cultural and chemical methods of control.
