BC – Fruit growers in B.C. say while they are encouraged by a multi-million
dollar funding announcement for their industry – they wanted more.
The provincial and federal governments are putting up $5 million for environmentally friendly packaging and storage as well as “value-added” strategies for the tree-fruit industry. |
