B.C. potato vodka takes spirit award

March 23, 2010 – When Tyler Schramm first laid eyes on the newly-planted potato fields in British Columbia’s Pemberton Valley, he had no idea those same spuds would bring him worldwide acclaim.

The 32-year-old Vancouver native was working as a ski operator in Whistler when he first visited the fields, shortly after his brother and his wife moved to Pemberton Meadow.
