Markets keep agriculture sustainable

June 30, 2009, Saskatoon, Sask. – Farmers’ markets are growing in popularity in Saskatchewan and across Canada, putting money back into producers’ wallets.

These type of markets play a role in helping to keep agriculture sustainable, according to Greg Marshall, president of the Agricultural Producers’ Association of Saskatchewan.
