There’s a new face at HZPC Americas Corp. Fred Koops, M.Sc., formerly of HZPC Holland B.V., has joined the HZPC Americas Corp. team, bringing his considerable technical knowledge of HZPC variety performance and production know-how. In his new position, Koops will head the technical department in the HZPC Product Manager capacity, operating from the company’s Charlottetown, P.E.I., base. Koop’s broad range of technical experiences includes potato production in Eastern and Western Europe, sales support in northern and southern areas of Africa and technical advisor in Middle Eastern countries. His technical experiences also have extended to areas of plant breeding, potato variety development and introductions, and adapting existing production technologies to improve performance of HZPC varieties under varying conditions
