Mohawk Equipment, Brantford, Ont., has extended its product line with the addition of Drop Spreaders from Garber Seed Company. These spreaders provide a new tool for apply granular products, including grass seed, fertilizer, herbicides, salt and lime. The spreaders have been designed for easy of use and increased accuracy. Tooled, slotted openings assure uniform, blanket distribution. The welded steel hopper is constructed using 12- and 16-gauge steel for durability. The spreaders were also designed for smooth towing with 16x6.5x8 flotation tires with 14-gauge steel rims. They are also available with a three-point hitch for spreading in areas where backing is difficult.
