Polyspan™ irrigation pipe
Written by fruit & vegetable magazine
Some farm chemicals or corrosive water can take a toll on irrigation pipes.  In a few years, this may lead to major repairs and replacement of expensive machine parts, depending on the level of corrosive material in the water. PolySpan™ lined irrigation pipe has a polyethylene liner that is permanently attached to the galvanized pipe. The liner is virtually indestructible and is backed by an unconditional pipeline replacement warranty during the first 10 years. corrosion and can handle the most aggressive chemigation and fertigation programs. Valley offers several alternative pipeline solutions designed to meet specific water conditions and customer expectations. Most Valley machines can be repiped with PolySpan™ for years of continued performance at significantly lower costs than replacing the current machine. Customers considering PolySpan™ should obtain a water analysis, which will allow your local dealer to decide which Valley pipeline solution is the right choice for a particular program. If PolySpan™ fits the grower’s need, it can significantly reduce long-term costs by eliminating the need for future repipings.
